BAND CONTEST REPORT

Sir,—While not wishing to deny the Band its fruits by a good report on its recent contest performance, I was rather surprised at the absence of any criticism offered by the judge, in the report published in Monday’s issue. If the Band put up a perfect performance (as one would imagine by the report), why were the total points so low? If some points of criticism were omitted one can hardly call the report the “judge’s remarks.” “WELL-WISHER.”
