VISIT OF SUPERVISOR Mr D. G. Beattie, Supervisor and organiser for the Bay of Pteptl’JP 1 ® trict Pig Council, arrived in Ta ' ranga to-day, and went on to Katkati this afternoon. In the Te Puke district yesterday four clubs were formed, viz., at Matai, Paengaroa, Pukehina an Otamarakau. t The Te Matai is the first club of fifty-five in the Bay of Plenty V trict Council’s area to purchase sow of the Large Black breed. The Paengaroa Club has ed two sows—a Berkshire and * Tamworth. . .. |_ It is intended to form clubs week at Katikath, Aongatete, a Ap3.ta.. Clubs have been formed aireaui at Gate Pa and Otumoetai, and > Beattie will meet the members those clubs this w r eek. Mr Beattie will leave for Ro tor “ on Saturday to continue wor) L 11 , that area and will return to * ranga on or about March H to duct meetings at Omokoroa, Pa ’ and Whakamarama. He address the members of the i ® Farmers’ Club at Omokoroa on 14th inst.
