colonel J. Hargest, M.P. for Invercargill, who is addressing meetings in the Bay of Plenty this week, will he in the Te Puke district on Saturday next.

Guests at the Masonic Hotel include Mr anu Mrs Abodes, Mrs McDougall, Miss McDougall, Messrs Raynes, E. H. Rhodes, Michell and Gibson.

Visitors at the Tauranga Hotel include Miss Bellam, Miss Nicholls, Miss Briscoe, Miss Warren, Messrs Arnold, T. B. Phillips, Mitchell, Woods and Potts.

The Rev. David Calder, New Zealand Secretary of the British and Foreign Bible Society, will leave shortly on a visft to the United Kingdom.

Guests at the Commercial Hotel include Mr and Mrs G. Rodgers (England), Mr and Mrs A. Evans, Mr and Mrs Renshaw (Auckland), Mr and Mrs D. T. Hyland (Helensville), Mr T. W. Potts (Hamilton), Miss Simpson (Hamilton), and Miss Scott and Mr Barber (Wanganui).

Flight Lieutenant Gibson, aerodrome construction engineer for the Public Works Department, is paying a visit to Tauranga and will also go out to Mayor Island.
