Good progress lias been made with most of the events in the competitions. hut the handicaps have been held up by the recent wet weather, and the Committee has extended all events whereby the first and second rounds must be completed by 2Sth inst. Flannel Dance The Club will hold a Flannel Dance in the Civic Theatre on Wednesday evening next. A first-class orchestra has been engaged and an enjoyable time is assured to all who attend.
