M.IVs Appreciation Mr C. H. Burnett, M.P., aongratulated the Band on their wonderful performances during the Contest. He had belonged to a town, Wanganui, which had two splendid bands and he hoped the Band would give the local townspeople more opportunities of hearing them during the winter. It was very inspiring to hear a good Band and the P e °Pj® were proud of the local Band. He hoped l that something would be done to give the Band a proper place for playing- He made appreciative reference to the financial WPS I ™ J the Borough Council.
