Five years’ service bar to Mr G. Guppy. Silver Medal to Mr F. Bougen for best attendance at practices during the past year. M.IVs Appreciation Mr C. H. Burnett, M.P., aongratulated the Band on their wonderful performances during the Contest. He had belonged to a town, Wanganui, which had two splendid bands and he hoped the Band would give the local townspeople more opportunities of hearing them during the winter. It was very inspiring to hear a good Band and the P e °Pj® were proud of the local Band. He hoped l that something would be done to give the Band a proper place for playing- He made appreciative reference to the financial WPS I ™ J the Borough Council.
