NEW ZEALAND PRAISED Sydney, April 10. The Victorian Minister oC Labour, Mr E. J. Mackreli, on his return from New Zealand, expressed his admiration of the Dominion’s placement scheme for dealing with unemployment. He said: “I think it would fit well into our scheme and I intend to recommend its adoption to the Victorian Government.” Mr Mackrell said he was impressed by New Zealand’s prosperity and commented upon the pride of the citizens in their property.
