Hershey (Penn.), April 8
Angry farmers entered the plant of the Hershey Chocolate Corporation and expelled sit-down strikers. The farmers, whose market of 800,0001 b. of milk daily was destroyed as a result of the strike, armed themselves with sticks and clubs and beat, the strikers, many of whom were taken to hospitals. The American Legion brass hand headed the farmers’ attack.
