BAY OF PLENTY HUNT CLUB
AXXUAL CJKXKUAIj MKKTIXG (From our Correspondent). The annual general meeting of the Bay of Plenty Hunt Club was held in the Borough Council Chambers, the following members being present:—Mr Imres Yercoe (in the chair). Messrs W. Burnett, T. Ball, IT. Mohr, J. Pursley, G. Perkins, F. Collins, E. Gilmore, J. Hansen and D. Neilson (Hon. Secretary). Apologies for absence were received from Messrs W. and V. Matthews. The minutes of the last annual meeting were read and confirmed. The Deputy Master, Mr Yercoe thanked the land owners for the use of their properties during the past season, and also the committee and secretary for their work. The election of officers for the ensuing season resulted as follows: Deputy Master, Mr I. Yercoe; Assistant Master, Mr W. Bennett; Hon. Secretary, Mr D. Neilson.

Mr I. Vercoe and Mr W. Bennett were appointed to fill the two vacancies. After discussion, it was' decided to apply to the Executive Committee at Rotorua, for one Hunt meet a fortnight in the Te Puke Ward, the opening meet to be held at Paengaroa a breadfast to be held at 10.30 a.m. on the opening morning to which all land owners will be invited. The matter of holding a Hunt Club Ball this season was left over for the incoming committee to deal with at a later date.
