The Bay of Plenty Times FRIDAY, APRIL 9th., 1937 NEWS IN TOWN

Holy Trinity Church. Harvest Thanksgiving services will be held in Holy Trinity Church next Sunday. The preacher both in the morning and evening will be the Vicar, the Rev. O. S. O. Gibson. It is asked that all Harvest Offerings be sent to the Church by early afternoon on Saturday, They will be sent afterwards to tne Children’s Homes.

The Rainfall. Seventy-one points of rain fell in the past twenty-four hours up to 9 a.m. to-day. The showers between 4 and 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon were exceptionally ,heavy.
