DEVELOPMENT OF TABLE BAY H.VHBOII! .Capetown, Feb. 21. The South African Government has decided immediately to develop Table Bay Harbour, at a cost of £2.250.000. in four years, thus ensuring one of the finest artificial haibours in the world, capable of accomodating ships of any size. It is mI ended also to construct a big graving Tile scheme was discussed dining the visit of tiie Minister of Harbours and Defence. Mr O. Pirow, to London last year, when the contingency or the Cape’s becoming an alternative route to' that via the Mediterranean and the Suez Canal was considered.
