Doth'the principals—Monsieur Corthey and Vera Paravicini—have made commanl performances before Royalty, and on three occasions did their amazing act before King George, engaged for* six-weeks contract in South Africa, they remained for 1003 days—'d> c largest specially act ever to.run in that Dominion. In addition, Monsieur Corthey tutored many of_ the crowned heads of Europe, and incidentally taught Charlie Chaplin the skating tricks which the coniedi Jll featured iu “Modern Times.” Vera Paravicini performs the evolutions of a classical ballet on skates, and together tlie performers do the most amazing acrobatics, all the m ments being those of ice skating applied to rollers.
