Sir, —Your correspondent “Pro Bono Publico" and others have very rightly called attention to the latest result of the deliberations of that able body of gentlemen who constitute our Town Council, every sane person agrees with the remarks of your correspondents. May an ordinary business man now suggest that Councillors devote a little study to the disgraceful condition of the gutters in Devonport Hoad—which are apparently never cleaned. Perhaps a few stray garueners from Herries’ Park could be spared once or twice a week to help keep our town clean. “HERE'S HOPING."
