VALUABLE RING LOST
VALUE OF £2,500 A ring valued at £2,500 belonging to Lady Louis Mountbatten is missing. It has not been established whether it has been lost or stolen. Lady Mountbatten’s residence, Brook House, Upper Brook-street, W.. has been in the hands of the decorators, and it is possible that the ring may have been mislaid when preparations were being made for the men to take over the premise:. Tlie ring, an emerald with diamond baton shoulders, may fhave been dropped and swept away with rubbish.
