A WIFE’S STORY

NIGHT IN BUTCHER’S SHOP Perth, Feb. 12. A wife’s story of how her husbar.r, a master butcher, made her occupy the butcher's shop and how he slept on the floor while she remained awake to keep the rats away from their year-old baby girl, was told In Perth to-day. The woman, who sought a separation, said the family spent the nights wherever it could get accommodation. The husband said the wife’s story was ridiculous. It was impossible to sleep in the shop because of meat and sawdust everywhere. The court granted the separation, and gave custody of the child to the wife.
