KATIKATI At the September meeting Mrs Spedding presided and read the report on the Dunedin conference which proved very interesting. A report on the Group Committee meeting in Tauranga was given by Mrs Brown. Mrs Hatch and Mrs Watkins were elected delegates to the Council meeting in Te Puke. The competitions were—" Best arrangement of flowers in a 21b. Jar,” and Miss Hill was first with Mrs Hopkin second. “A Specimen bloom of Ranunculus,” was won by Mrs Spedding first, Mrs M. M. Johnston second. Mrs Brown later demonstrated Hairpin work, this being much appreciated. The roll call was a kitchen “don’t” and this brought forth some very amusing as well as helpful hints.
