WOMEN’S DIVISION

DEMONSTRATION BY MRS E, PRBDEN Members of the Pyes Pa Women’s Division and several friends were the guests of Mrs E. Pruden s of Cambridge Road last ■ week, when Mrs Prudcn gave a demonstration of crystallizing flowers. Many varieties were shown including violets, freeslas, rose petals and'companulas, all of which had kept their colour and shape perfectly. Mrs Pruden had also made and decorated a beautiful cake which was competed for during the afternoon.

A very dainty tea was served; after which Mrs Christian on behalf of those present thanked Mrs Pruden for her Interesting demonstration. Among the guests were Mrs F. N. Christian, Mrs L,. Toliemache, Mrs W. Baigent, Mrs D. H. Corrigan, vMesdames Anderson, White, Patton, Earl, Denis Turner, Cross, Miss Stewart and a number of members of the Pyes Pa Division, the weather preventing a larger attendance.
