WINTER SHOW

Excellent Entries Received

CLOSING DATE EXTENDED. The Poultry sectloh"of the Winter show promises to be an outstanding feature. There are over 200 entries for Poultry and cage Birds, and many prominent breeders from all over the province will be represented. Local fanciers have also taken advantage of the opportunity for displaying their birds. As entries for the other sections continue to come in .freely it has been decided to extend the date of closing till to-morrow, Saturday. So far the entries have been very satisfactory, and when finally compiled should make an exhibition-, ot no mean order. The Secretary, Mr A. S. Voss, would be pleased to exhibit any working industrial model free. Arrangements have been completed for patrons to secure a cup of tea, with sandwiches or cakes at a very reasonable figure. This will prove a boon to those who wish to spend plenty of time in looking round the show.
