DISTINCTIVE SUCCESS
Miss Dorothy Wills, of Tauranga has now completed her examinations ■ for the Associateship of the New Zealand Institute of Architects. Miss Wills is returning to the Auckland University tor a short lime to complete her thesis for the degree of Bachelor of Architecture.
Miss Wills is the only child of Mr and Mrs G. H. Wills, of Tauranga, and was educated at the Tauranga District High School, where she was successful iu obtaining both Junior and Senior National Scholarships, also Matriculating. After two years at the Epsom Girls’ Grammar School Miss Wills received a bursary, and being too young to bo enrolled as a University student spent a year in TaurangaComfflenclng ho: studies lor architecture in ID2!'. this clever young' lady has done remarkably well to lake her final examination so soon. She is the second lady architect to be registered in New Zealand, tho first being registered only last year. Many congratulations have been extended to Miss Wills, and it is with pleasure we announce her success.
