We regret to learn that Mr E. A. Entwistle is indisposed and has had to enter a private hospital in Auckland for treatment. The Rev. Melville E. Holmes! at present Assistant Curate at St. Mary’s Church, Karori, Wellington, has been appointed to a similar position at Holy Trinity Church, Tauranga. Mr Holmes will take up his new duties on the Ist December. We regret to hear that Mr Charles Weitzel, a farmer on the Irihanga Block, who went to Auckland some weeks ago on acocunt of a serious illness, has died in the Auckland Hospital. Mr Weitzel, who was twenty-nine years of age, was a single man and was much esteemed by all who knew him. Much sympathy will be extended to the relatives, who reside in Australia.
