Mr Cotterell is, we are gladto say, making steady progress towards complete recovery. Visitors staying at the Tauranp Hotel are Mr and Mrs F. Palmer, Mr and Mrs Beaims, and Messrs Aicklt, Saker and Wakeford (Auckland), and Messrs H. Moore‘a# 4 Dwyer. (Waikato). Mr Thomas Fletcher, Inspector o! Native Schools, is paying an official visit to the native schools in this district, and is staying at the X** ranga Hotel. Mr Fletcher is a member of the Management Committee rt the New Zealand Rugby Union, Mr L. M. Estcourt, orchard instructor, and Mr Melton, of the Department of Agriculture, Hamilton, art staying at the Masonic Hotel. Guests staying at Hotel Body* are: Major McKerrow (England), Mr and Mrs Archenhold (Chrlftchuch), Rev.
