In a eharactristially acid speech which delighted listeners and scathingly condemned Sovietism, Viscount Snowden, in the House of Lords, attacked the Socialist. Mr Marley, who recently compared Russia to Britain’s detriment. “I was preaching Socialism when Marley was in swaddling clothes," declared Lord Snowden. “but I never based my conception of the Socialist State upon the ruins of the capitalist system. May God save England from such Socialism as exists in Russia.”
