Stratford, representing j (•be Auckland Executive of the Royal Life Saving Society and the Auckland' Swimming Centre, was present and • advocated that swimming and h(o saving activities be incorpuraud In the one club. On the motion of Mr 11. P. Butts,’ seconded by Mr G; L. Armitage, it 1 was decided that a club, to be railed the Tauranga Amateur Swimming and. Life Saving Chib, be formed. < OHicers. Tiie following officers were elected: Patron—,Mr C. E. Macmillan, M.P. ‘ President—Mr H. P. Bulls Vice-Presidents—Messrs H. S. Riggir and J. Proctor.

Executive Committee— Miss B. Turner and Messrs M. P. Rhodes, R. -TsJ Grey. K. Taylor, U. Mirricleos, N.gl West, and F. Bates, also the captains, Miss M. Bates (ladies), and Messrs/’ W.
