AMBUSH IN NICARAGUA

A message from Managua, Nicaragua, says eight United States Marines were killed and two seriouslywounded when they were ambushed by bandits, who are said to have been operating in a new offensive under the rebel General Sandino. . The Marines have been fighting the bandits almost every week for months, but this is the first time for more than a year that they have suffered heavy losses.
