WHERE ARE MEN?
GIRLS WANT TO KNOW, Where arc the men i is the question being asked in Eastbourne, England. Girls outnumber men many times in every direction. For every man bathing there are ten girls. Tennis courts are occupied by young women, and it if* the same with boating. Girls on motor-cycles and in small two-seater cars outnumber men riders ami drivers. On the Downs, girl walkers, with business-like'' haversacks and shorts, “hike” as the young men used to do. Only on the bowling greens are men in the majority, and the emaniepated sex has undoubtedly captured Eastbourne.
