After resuming the Rest took the offensive, but the defenders held on tenaciously, and the game ended in a victory for Athletics by 11 points to 6. SCHOOLS’ MATCH. The Waihi and Tauranga High Schools played an interesting game on the domain on Saturday morning, which was won by Tauranga by 9 points to 3. PARATA CUP GAMES, The Tauranga Rugby Union’s representatives will visit Taupo on Saturday next to play Taupo in the Parata Cup competition. The Tanpo Union has shown a commendable sporting spirit in visiting Tauranga on several occasions, and the local Union is doing the right thing in helping Rugby at Taupo by sending a team to that centre. The following local players will make the trip: K. Bell, A. Tassell, G. Farmer, K. McLeod, E. lies, R. J. Phelan, R. Packman, W. Turner, R. Mirrielees. C. Haua, I. Tangitu, E. Heke, W. Ngahoe, P. Ririnui. T. Pearson, J. Ferguson, H. Kelly. The other winners in the Parata Cup competition, Apanui and Rangitaiki, will meet at Te Teko on Saturday next.
