A rave has been discovered on the banks of the Waikato, below the Aratiatia rapids. The native who accidentally found it bv aid of his dotr. explored it. and discovered remains of ketes of better design than the Maoris make now. There were some markings on the walls, which he could not make out. It is proposed to keen the locali tv'secret until the visit of Mr Henry Hill, of Nanjer, who knows every acre of the district from a geological point of view. Tho native did not disturb the floor, which may possible yield some remains of Interest.
