COMMAND PREMIUM PRICES
' There can be no doubt that Waikato dairymen realise that herd-test-ing association marked calves arc potential high producers, judging by the number marked in that district and by the demand for, and prices paid for, these marked calves (stales the Taranaki News). Waikato buyers have recently been operating in the South Taranaki area, and several lines have been shippd away to swell the production of the Waikato. Locally marked calves are at a premium, and up to £8 10/ per head has been paid.
