WOOL SALE
GOOD COMPETITION AT SYDNEY.
At the Sydney wool sale on Monday, the offerings totalled! 6607 bales of which 0504 were sold. There was exceptionally good competition from the Continental section supported by Bradford. The market as compared with the closing rates of last week was from par to 5 per cent higher on all spinners’ wools. Japanese inquiry was very restricted. Greasv Merino sold to 231 d.
