“STONEWALLING”
LAND AND INCOME TAX AMENDMENT BILL.' Wellington, Oct. 23 At two thirty yesterday the House of Representatives commenced the further consideration of the Land and Income Tax Amendment Bill and went into committee. At 9.30 the House adjourned for two hours for breakfast and at the luncheon adjournment had not disposed of clause one and the short title. The sitting will probably last through to-night also.
