JN THE MATTER of "The Local Bodies’ Loans’ Act 1926” and amendments, “The Electric Power Boards Act 1925” and amendments, and “The Local Government Loans Board Act 1926” and amendments. PUBLIC NOTICE. 'PHE TAURANGA ELECTRICROWER BOARD hereby gives public notice that the said Board proposes to raise a special loan of £5,000 for the purpose of PROVIDING FUNDS for the purposes mentioned in Section 118 of “The Electric Power Boards Act 1925” which section authorises the Board to instal motors electric wires, electric lamps, and other fittings and equipment in public or private buildings, works, dwellings, and other places and to accept payment therefor by instalments AND TO MAKE an annual recurring special rate of nine fortieths pence in the pound sterling on the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Tauranga Electric Power District ag security for the interest and sinking fund in connection with such loan. The whole of the loan is to be repayable at the expiration of ten years from the date of raising the loan and the rate of interest is not to exceed five and a-half percentura per annum and it is proposed to establish a sinking fund of not less than eight per centum per annum for repayment of the loan. It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan but it is not proposed to pay out of the loan moneys any portion of interest or sinking fund on the loan. PUBLIC NOTICE THE TAURANGA ELECTRICX POWER BOARD hereby gives public notice that the said Board proposes to raise a special loan of £25,000 for the purpose of the construction and providing Electric Works as defined in the “Electric Power Boards Act 1925” and other works as provided in Sections 81 and 82 of the said Act including the erection and construction of extensions to its present system of electric reticulation and alterations and additions to its main and subsidiary feeders and substations AND TO MAKE an annual recurring special rate of. three-fifths pence in the pound sterling on the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Tauranga Electric Power District as security for the interest and sinking fund in connection with such loan. The whole of the loan is to be repayable at the expiration of twenty-six years from the date of raising the loan and the rate of interest is not to exceed five and a-half per centum per annum and it is proposed to establish a sinking fund of not less than two per centum per annum for repayment of the loan. It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan but it is not proposed to pay out of the loan money any portion of interest or sinking fund on the loan. It is not proposed to undertake any reticulation 1 .unltess the estimated revenue therefrom will show a return of sixteen per centum or over on the estimated capital outlay.
