TASMANIAN POTATOES
LOSSES THROUGH FLOODS. Sydney, April 17. The Tasmanian potato crops suffered severely in the recent floods. Even some which it was thought had escaped developed wet rot and 1000 bags so affected were found among shipments which have reached Sydney in the past week. They had to be destroyed. Their market value was £lB a ton.
