SIR JAMES PARR VISITS GLASGOW. Sir James Parr, High Commissioner for New JJpulmid,' with ti:ii official New Zealand parly, visited Glasgow in’ tonnoe.Uott with the campaign to push the produce of the Dominion (says a London cable). The visitors were given a luncheon by the Lord Provost, and were the guests of Ihe Clyde Navigation Trust for a whole day in an inspection ofthe docks and shipyards. They saw the Rangitahi being, built at Brown’s yards and had a conference with merchaUits on the mutter of more frequent direct shipments. Sir Janies at the, luncheon made an appeal that New Zealand products should bo given a trial on their merits. Consequently, the date of their arrival at Glasgow was uncertain.
