SIDING ACCIDENT

A MAN KILLED. (Per Press Association) Dunedin, March 4 A man named Black, 61 years of age, employed at the Logan Point quarry, was killed on the railway siding. Deceased was in charge of two trucks and when the vehicles were approaching several other trucks he attempted to reach a chain, but was caught between the buffers. He expired before reaching hospital.
