MOTOR ACCIDENT

FRIVOLITY MINSTRELS INVOLVED. (Per Press Association) Opotiki, Jan. So A motor accident occurred on the Meremere Hill this morning. Fifteen members of the Napier Frivolity Minstrels, in a bag bus, left for Gisborne, and when on the Meremere Hill the bus left the road, nose dived, turned over and landed on its wheels, 110 feet ladow. Ralph Hawkins, driver, and Reginald Abbot, both of Napier,...-were seriously injured, and three others were slightly injured. All were admitted to hospital. The party was very lucky to escape so lightly.
