EASTERN BEACH
A POPULAR CAMPING AREA. A representative of this paper, chatting with the campers on Fifth Avenue beach, learned that the arrangement has given much pleasure and satisfaction. Mr T. H. Wylie, of Mbrrinsville, is so well pleased that instead of spending a fortnight, as intended at first, he decided to prolong his holiday with his family to five weeks. Besides the conveniences provided by the Borough, the daily services of tradesmen come in for much appreciation. The interest of the townspeople in the welfare of the visitors is also much appreciated. Mr Wylie intends to make known the excellence of Tauranga aa a place for an ideal holiday; indeed, he has already persuaded a large number of his friends to take advantage of the camping facilities offered, and they are well satisfied with the camp and its surroundings. It is always a big consideration to . bo able to have sea bathing for the young children with absolute safety. Another and important feature is the handiness per medium of the oar to those wishing to put in the week-end—leaving Momnsville at seven o’clock' in the evening, Mr WyHo has arrived at the camp and sitting down to tea at 9.30. As the conditions are more widely known, week-end visits will become increas- 1 iugly popular.
