CYCLING CLUB
INITIAL HUN. A meeting of the luuranga Cycle Club was held in Mr C. Clinkard's ollico on Thursday evening, Mr Burke presiding. Final arrangements were made for the opening run of the Club to Wuiroa bridge on Sunday, July 24, leaving the wharf at 2 p.m. A party has been detailed to have hot water in readiness at the Wairoa for anyone who would cure to make afternoon lea whilst there. A Club captain will be elected os Sunday asd he will act as ollieial puce maker, it being considered very bad form to puss him en roule. Arrungements are well in hand for the running of the Club events during the coming season, and tin Committee hope to run tticir First competitions at an early dale. The Club extends a hearty imitation to ait lady and gentlemen cyclists to join them in their run on the 241 h
