SIR JAMES GUNSON
PATRIOTIC SOCIETY’S APPRECIATION OF SERVICES. (Per Press Association.) Auckland. Dec. 17. The services of Sir James Gunson as President of the Auckland Provincial Patriotic and War Relief Association, of which he was Chairman of the Executive, were spoken of in highly appreciative terms yesterday, when his resignation was tendered owing to an impending visit to Epgland. Sir James Gunson was prevailed upon to withdraw his resignation, and accept eighteen months’ leave of absence :
