Taumarunui, July 2 A hold up occurred ou the Alain Trunk Railway last night. when the; Limited from Auckland broke the main driving axle, two miles south of Ivakahi. The ordinary express from Auckland was detained at Taumarunui until >6,30 this morning pid was sent to link up with the Limited. The two trains continued together to Wellington. The Limited express from the south was consequently delayed and left Taumarunui at 8.30. The whole local time table was i disorganised for some time.
