WORKS COMMITTEES REPORT. EXPENDITURE OF LOAN The Works Committee presented a report to the meeting of the .Borough Council on Wednesday evening, containing TUe; following recommendations : 1. —Eleventh Avenue, Etc-.—That Eleventh Avenue, from Jndea Bridge, and RcJxTts Street, from Cameron Road to Hairini Bridge, be scarified aml rc-metalled. Ibft wide; t'he section from Judea Bridge to Faulkner's Corner to be proceeded with immediately. 2. —Water Cart. —That a one-horse water cart lie obtained a,s soon as convenient J.—Cutting Trees. —That cutting back trees, am! removal of objectionable stumps in the Borough, he carried out by Mr C. Hansen. -I.- —Trees for Electric Poles,—That 2000 trees suitable for electric poles and similar purposes be obtained for planting at Omanawa. 5. —Elizabeth Street. -That Elizabeth Street "West be metalled. <>. —Extension Sewerage Area. —That the Engineer ho authorised to formulate a. plan and sifbinit rough estimates of cost thereof in connection with the proposed extension of the sewerage area. 7.
