ITNDER Section 13, paragraph ' (c) of “The Nurses and Midwives Registration Act 1925,” those women who are not registered as mid wives but who desire to continue in practise as maternity nurses can be registered as such rl they prhve to. the satisfaction, of tire Nurses and Midwives Registration Board that they have for not less than twelve months prior to Ist January, 1926, been regularly engaged in practice as maternity nurses in New Zealand. They must apply for registration, not later than the Ist day of January, 1927, forward the necessary certificates as to experience and enclosing a post office receipt for the registration fee of £l. Any person omitting to make such application will be, after that date, barred entirely from practising nn- [ less after undergoing the neces- [ sary course and passing the State Examination as prescribed by the Regulations under the above Act. All intending to register under k this Section of the Act are urged to lodge their application for registration at. once.
