The Port ut London pilots are alarmed at the mud dredged from the docks in the upper reaches nftheThames being dumped in the Black Deep reach, forty miles below Gravesend. They declare that the channel is shoaling and becoming dangerous to navigation, and that within five years the Thames will he closed unless the mud is dumped elsewhere.
