MOTHER KILLS THREE CHILDREN. (Per Press Association.) 1 Dunedin, Nov 9 A tragedy involving the lives of three young children occurred at ' Street, Kaikorai. Uhire Lindsay Hart aged 5, Andrew Harr, aged 3. and Nola Hart aged 14 months were found with their throats cut. : The first intimation was when the • mother, Ellen Hart, threw a stone on the roof of Mr 'Upton’s house, adjoining (hem, telling Mis Upton to come in with her. They went into Hart’s house and Mrs Hart said; "I have killed my kids. I loved those kids.” Airs Upton called her husband who found the children all dead. ■ The two hoys were lying on a mat in the kitchen. The baby was found in a pram with its head almost severed. The tragedy must have occurred just after Mrs Hart’s husband, a carpenter, left for work. The bodies were removed to the morgue. Mrs Hart was taken to the police station.
