Mrs W. B. Fisher, of Wellington, has lieen appointed by the King, Lady of Draws of the Order of St.John of-Jeru-salem in recognition of her services ou behalf of the Bed Cross in England during the war. Mrs Fisher is the fifth .New Zealand woman to be so honoureel.
Mr., Arnold Hausson has lieen «l<pointhd chief inspector of forestry tor a fferiod of four years, from September 13.
The Gazette notifies the appointment of Mr M r . 1). Hunt, as a member of the Meat Producers 1 Board, representing the stock and station agents, and of Messrs T. A. Duncan and Adam Hamilton, representing the producers of meat for export.
