Mi s.s Eitwright was last seen alive on July 27. when after a visit to Yackdamlah, sh<- was driven bv a neighbour to within a hundred yards of her house. When neighbours forced an entrance to the house they found the lied unmade and tin- clothes usually worn by Miss Emvrlght when away from home, in a room. The farm was body neglected. ft is not- thought possible that, rite unfortunate woman could have possessed much means. The police are endeavouring to find the person who- was seen speaking te. the woman on July 27.
.V cable received from Melbourne yesterday stated the body of Miss Bridget Emvrighi. who was aged 69 years a f the line of her death, had been found partly buried in a crevice among tile rocks about 200 yards from her residence in Benalla. She has been missing from her Inane since July 27. The indications are that she was murdered.
