POLAR FLIGHT PROPOSALS

Aviators are urging that Italy should undertake the Polar tight which Captain Amundsen has abandoned. A deputy, Signor Locate!li. who is a noted aviator*, sought permission to continue preparations, but the Government refused on the ground of expense, but is seriously considering the proposal. Signor Locatelli purposes to use the* machines built for Amundsen for the flight from the North of Scotland to Iceland. Greenland, Labrador, and Canada.
