Wilson from Tatiniugii, were present. .Mrs llow.sell ua> elected lion, secretary tor the icrthcoining year and the same' committee was re-appointed. The liuanrial position was considered. The balance sheet showed a credit balance °! £3 7,-. The report from Xnrse (!arrood. dealt with the work done tor Hit* past ten months, covering the period from June 1, 1923, to March 31. 1921. There has been a total of sixteen babies on the roll during this time, the present number being 9. The difference in these numbers is due to the fact that 4 have left the district and three have been discharged. A total of 190 visits have been made to homers and the Mount ba.s been visited 39 limes during this period. This gives a general idea of what has been done during the past ten months. Considering this is such a new branch and such a small population the work has been fpiite satisfactory. Many visitors through the summer months availed themselves of help. A committee meeting was held in the Arcadia. Hall, when it was decided to hold a Plunket Social on July 8. (dancing and progressive euchre) Irom 8 to I*2 p.m., to augment the funds. As there lias been nothing of the kind for some time, there should be a good attendance. .Special thanks are due to Mr and Airs llain for the use of the hall and meetings at their private house. Owing to the bad state of the roads by flood water and unusually heavy rains, all festivities have been practically at a, standstill, the road has now been repaired and wo gre all looking forward to a little more sociability.
