Air Geoffrey S, Peren, 8.5;., of Bristol, who* has H en appointed to fill the Sir Walter Buchanan Chair of Agriculture at Victoria College, Wellington, is at present the staff of the Agricultural and Horticultural Research Station of the University of Bristol. Aft;r taking his B.Sc. in Agriculture at the Toronto University, he spent four years at Guelph working cn the land. He then returned to England, where he obtained a position at the East Mailing Agricultural Research Station in Kent. Afterwards he was an inspector under the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, and then took up his present position with the Agricultural and Horticultural Research Station at Long Ashton, near Bristol. .
