TIDAL WAVE
ON SOUTH CALIFORNIAN COAST. Auat.—N.Z. Cable Assoc. Rec. Sept. 14, 9 a.m. San Francisco, Sept. 12. A telegram from Mexicali, Lower California, states that San Jose De Cabo, a fishing village near Cape San Lucas, has been destroyed by a tidal wave. Most of the live hundred inhabitants are believed; to be safe on higher ground.
