TENDING THOSE IN ENGLAND. Rcc April 24, 9.10 a.m. London, April 22. Sir James Allen lias completed a tour* of fifteen south-west of England cemetiics, and found that New Zealand graves were fairly well tended. In at least two cemeteries he found that no one was responsible for the upkeep of New Zealanders’ graves, though Australians and Canadians were provided for. lie immediately took action for a remedy. Sir James Allen paid a tribute to the devotion of the ladies tending the graves, the most outstanding being at Brockeuhurst.
