Mails close at Tauranga as under; Auckland, by train, Saturday 2.45 p.m. Auckland and Thames, per steamer, Tuesday and Friday p.m. Auckland and stations South of Frankton Junction, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 7 a.m. Rotorua district, including Whakatane, Taneatua and Opotiki, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 7 a.m.; also Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 2.45 p.m. Thames, Paeroa, Waihi, Athenree, Ivatikati, Aongatefce, Omokoroa and Te Puna, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 7 a.m. Papamoa, Te Puke, Paengaroa, Matata and Pongakawa. Monday Wednesday and Thursday 12.45 p.m.; Tuesday and Friday 6.30 a.m.; Saturday at 2.45 p.m. Gate Pa (letters only) by postman, daily at 8.30 a.m. Oropi and Gate Pa, Tuesday and Friday at noon. Omanawa Falls and Tauriko, Tuesday and Saturday 12.30 p.m. Kaimai, Lower Kaimai and Tauriko, Fridays 11.30 a.m.
